Police seeking robbery suspects

A Monday morning robbery in downtown Winchester left one man a bit poorer after being robbed at gunpoint.

Winchester Police Capt. James Hall said the victim knew the perpetrator, who pulled a gun on him near Washington and First streets and demanded his money.

Hall said the victim even asked the person if it was a real gun or a BB gun, and said he needed his money, but the person took it anyway.

Only a small amount of cash was involved and there were no injuries.

Tuesday morning, Hall said several people had been interviewed but no charges had been filed.

The charge will likely be second-degree robbery, Hall said.
