Street paving to begin Sept. 12

Several Winchester streets will be repaved beginning Sept. 12, according to Winchester Public Works Director Pat Clark.
The work will be performed by The Allen Company.
The streets to be milled and resurfaced are: Evans Street, Dixie Street, Bel Air Drive, Bullion Boulevard, Old Bottom Road, Wheeler Avenue, Millwood Drive, Crestview Lane, Ivy Lane, Valentine Court, Georgia Street, Hamilton Street, Patio Street, Hill Street, Briarwood Lane and Ashton Oak Way.
The streets will be paved in order. Weather permitting, the work should be completed by Sept. 29.
