2017 Traditional Bank Talent Contest results

The annual Traditional Bank Talent Contest was hosted Saturday, Sept. 2, during the Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival.
Judges for the contest were Minnielynn Clay, Vonda Vermillion and Trish Torline.
The contest’s grand champion was Dakara Cooper, 13, of Stanton, with her performance of “Don’t Rain on my Parade.”

Young people
— First place: Asiana Campbell, 12, of Lexington, with “No Good For You”
— Second place: Amian, 9, and Asiana Campbell, 12, of Lexington with ‘Scars ’Til You’re Beautiful”
— Third place: Syndney Herringshaw, 11, on keyboards and Ella Brock, 11, singing “My Old Rugged Cross”
— Charlotte Ratliff, 6, of Lexington, with “It’s A Grand Old Flag”
High school
— First place: Jenna Dunnaway, 14, and Erin McIntosh, 14, of Jackson, with “Suds On The Bucket”
— Second place: Jarrrod Zahabi, 16, and Emilia Zahabi, 12, of Winchester, with an original song “Stuck In Time”
— Third place: Jaymym Thomas, 15, of Winchester, with “Don’t Stop Believing”
— Fourth place: Sarah King, 16, of Winchester, with “Any Man of Mine”
— Fifth place: David Ffiske, 15, of Winchester, with “Fast Car”
— Sixth place: Ethan Sotski, 15, of Winchester, with an original song, “Take My Blues Away”

— First place: Leslie Thomas, of Winchester, with “When You Say Nothing At All”
