Gertie Neal Walker Engle, 74, of Winchester, widow of Jack Engle, passed away Wednesday at the St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born in Nicholasville, KY on January 19, 1943, to the late John Walker and Mary Francis Walker. Gertie was a home health nurse for the old Clark County Hospital.

She is survived by son, Greg Engle, daughter, Debbie Engle, brothers, Danny, Bill and Kerry Walker, sister, Krickett Walker, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, John and Jack Engle and sister, Betty Kincaid.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10am at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with Rev. Larry Deckard presiding.

Visitation will be tonight from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Walker, Charlie VanCleve, T.J. Engle, Jack Engle, Wade Kincaid and Jasiah Pride. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Walker, Josh Walker, David Walker, Rusty Kincaid, Bill Walker, Rezin Kincaid, Nate Ingram and Kerry Walker.
