The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Corut Sept. 12, 2017, with Judge William Clouse presiding.

— Christopher Bates, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended one year concurrent, sentencing Oct. 19.

— Marcus Francis, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended five years; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended one year concurrent; violations of conditions of release, dismissed; sentencing Oct. 19.

— Christopher Bullock, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent.

— Bryan Thomas Crawford, flagrant non-support, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year.

— Brent Hessing, first-degree assault, amended to first-degree criminal abuse, pleaded guilty, recommended nine years; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing Oct. 5.

The following civil cases were filed recently in Clark Circuit Court.

— Margaret Franks vs. Fostina C. Church and National General Auto, Home and Health Insurance, personal injury.

— University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union vs. Larissa Brooke Reynolds, seeking $9,748.08 plus interest for debt.

— Velvet Miller vs. Ashley Harley, child custody action.

— Park Community Credit Union vs. Charles Jones, seeking $16,359 plus interest for debt.

— JPMorgan Chase Bank vs. Christie Babb Poe, Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems and Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, foreclosure.

— Tamatha Huff vs. Julia Insko and Liberty  Mutual Group, personal injury.
