Viola York, 79, of Winchester, widow of Mike York, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 30, 1938 in Rose Hill, VA, to the late Silas and Ruby Woods Fee. She was a member of Ark of Mercy Church, a homemaker that enjoyed caring for her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruby (David) King of Winchester, Judy Hollon of Winchester; four sons, John (Whitney) James of Winchester, Michael (Tabatha) York of Winchester, Glen York, Jerry (Evelyn) York. Viola was blessed with twenty-three grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Viola York will be conducted 1:30PM, on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Christ Church, 1691 Ironworks Road, Winchester, KY. 40391 by Rev. David Scalf.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00PM until the time of service Friday at the church with a reception to follow.
