Robert D. ‘Bob’ Winebrenner

Robert D. ‘Bob’ Winebrenner 89, formerly of Winchester, passed to heaven on September 30 in Ohio following a long illness.

He leaves behind Evelyn, his loving wife of 68 years, two sons, Kent of Palm Bay, Florida and Kevin of Winchester, Kentucky, and daughter Kay Ellen Sherk of Mt. Victory, Ohio, and their respective families.

He proudly enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served his country towards the end of World War II. Bob retired from Rockwell of Winchester as plant engineer after 34 years of service.

His end of life request was to be cremated and his ashes spread in the ocean. Kevin and Kent will fulfill his wishes.

A celebration of life will be held at the F.O.P. Lodge, 175 Old Muddy Creek Road on Thursday, October 5 from 4pm to 7pm for friends.
