Roger Dale Richardson, 81, of Madison County, widower of Doris Ann Black Richardson, passed away September 30 at the Baptist Health Care Hospital in Richmond. He was born in Estill County September 16, 1936, to the late Henry Wilson Richardson and Stella Mae Richardson. He was a member of the Flatwoods Christian Church. He is survived by one son, Michael (Cindy) Richardson of Indiana, two daughters, Shelia Campbell and Lisa (Jon) Clevenger of Richmond, brother, Donald Richardson of Miamisburg, OH, grandchildren, Bethani (Bill) Kirby, Hayley Isaacs, Kayla Clevenger, Nick Christy, David Douglas and Katherine McNeal, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Morris and Harold Richardson, sisters, Louverta Brandenburg, Viva Taylor, Alene Portwood and Laoma Thomas. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with Tim Jones presiding. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am until the hour of service. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
