Seniors in Winchester and Clark County will have the opportunity to learn more about programs and resources open to them at a new senior expo Oct. 20 from Clark County Community Education.

Presented by The Williams Agency and hosted at First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road, the expo will have have information for seniors on updates to Medicare Insurance, Silver Sneakers, banking and CDs, hospice and funeral costs.

The expo will last from 9 a.m to 1 p.m.

“Lots of vendors will provide information and education pertinent to our older population,” Community Education Director Cora Heffner said.

Admission to the expo is free and includes a light lunch. There will also be free health screenings for all who attend.

The Williams Agency will also give away a $150 Kroger gift card.
