CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Joshua A. Sparks, 34, of Richmond, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary.
— Aaron J. Crites, 27, of Clay City, was charged Friday with driving under the influence (second offense), driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, fourth-degree assault and was served a warrant.
Reports
— At 3:49 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 2 Heather Lane after someone broke into a residence and took cash.
— At 9:11 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 6278 Irvine Road after someone entered a residence and took two guitars.
— At 6:16 p.m. Sept. 30, deputies were called to Van Meter Road after someone stole a license plate from a vehicle.
— At 4:39 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 1257 Flanagan Station Road after someone entered a garage and moved items.
— At 1:50 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 1617 Boonesboro Road after someone entered a residence and took a basket of change and a knife.
— At 7:01 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 1831 Kiddville Road after someone broke into a residence and an outbuilding and took a ladder, sawhorses and other tools.
— At 10:32 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 4316 Trapp Goffs Corner Road after someone shot a window on a vehicle during the night.
Accidents
— At 11:54 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Log Lick Road in which a vehicle collided with a house. The driver, Wayne T. Hunter of 185 Chardonnay Court, said he did not remember what happened. The vehicle appeared to have gone off the side of the road in a curve, struck a parked vehicle, rolled on its side and struck the house. Hunter was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 43 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, four diabetic cases, one stroke, two seizures and four overdoses.
— At 12:47 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 201 Ridgeway Drive.
— At 2:34 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 415 Magnolia Ave. It was a false alarm.
— At 11:44 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 250 Oxford Drive. It was a false alarm.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 10:38 a.m. and 3:33 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 648 Trapp Goffs Corner Road.
— At 11:54 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 1170 Log Lick Road.

Charged
— Troy Devon Abrams, 41, was charged Friday with alcohol intoxication, resisting arrest and third-degree assault.
— Meghan Banks, 24, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree assault.
— Brandon H. Gregory, 32, was charged Saturday with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Dawn Marie Hall, 37, was charged Friday with failure to maintain insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving under the influence.
— Joshua A. Sparks, 34, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary (two counts).

— At 11:06 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 333 Newcastle Lane for an EPO/DVO violation.
— At 10:27 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 27 Memorial Park concerning damage to a vehicle.
— At 4:19 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 147 Magnolia St. concerning a theft of a weed trimmer.
— At 6:16 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 508 College St. after someone broke into a residence and took several items including earrings, medication and a PlayStation.
— At 6:32 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 102 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 7:37 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive concerning an assault.
— At 11:34 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 217 Abbeywood Drive concerning a domestic disturbance. Meghan Banks was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
— At 10:57 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 7 Lee St. for an alarm sounding.
— At 1:34 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1018 W. Lexington Ave. for a property damage complaint.
— At 2 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 17 Hampton Ave. concerning a stolen leaf blower.
— At 3:33 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 16 Magnolia St. concerning a broken window.
— At 6:02 p.m. Sunday, officer took a report concerning a theft.
Accidents
— At 12:47 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident in which Mary Leslie of 253 Ridgeway Drive was traveling west when she swerved onto the shoulder and struck a utility pole. Leslie told officers she could not pull her foot from the accelerator, which caused the accident. She was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
