Jerry Linville, 80, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his sister, Kathleen Linville of Winchester, and two special cousins, Linda Bartimus of St. Augustine, Florida, and Annie

Laura Carter of Mayfield, Ky.

Jerry was born Nov.16, 1936 to the late Orville and Katie Linville. After graduation Jerry began his first job at the Winchester Sun and continued there until retirement. Jerry worked in several positions at the Sun including page layout supervisor and sports photographer. He enjoyed photographing high school and UK ball games.

Jerry loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. He loved fishing and was a member of the Clark County Fish and Game Club and member of the Christian Faith.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., on Friday, Oct. 20, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until the

time of service. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Jerry was a good and kind man.
