— At 5:26 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road in which Christopher West, 43, of 108 Blueberry Lane, was traveling north when his car crossed the center line and struck a southbound Peterbilt dump truck head-on. The truck, driven by Ricky Bair of Wellington, overturned and dumped its load of coal ash. West’s car came to rest in a yard. West was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Bair was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center.

FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 10 general medical calls, one cardiac case and two diabetic cases.

— At 7:37 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 755 Ecton Road.

— At 7:59 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Mount Sterling Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

— At 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Catalent Pharma Solutions, 1100 Enterprise Drive. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:41 a.m. and 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 648 Trapp Goffs Corner Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Billie Jo Barnes, 29, was charged Tuesday with failure to maintain insurance, no or expired registration plate, driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license, first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and was served a warrant.

— Walter L. Hatton, 34, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree assault.

— Hazel M. McBride, 51, was charged Tuesday with possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 12:07 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 101 Fitch Ave. for a domestic disturbance. Walter Hatton was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.

— At 2:58 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning recovered stolen property.

— At 1:08 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen stained glass window from a residence.

— At 3:43 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 36 Lincoln St. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 3:59 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a possible rape.

— At 8:03 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to East Broadway Street and Hiawatha Trail for a fight in progress.

— At 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a known peron soliciting nude photos of the caller’s juvenile daughter.

— At 8:43 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning an emergency protection order.

— At 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Catalent Pharma Solutions, 1100 Enterprise Drive, concerning someone hacking the caller’s social media account.
