Charged

— Tammy Lynn Goldy, 36, was charged Saturday with buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking under $500 and receiving stolen property under $500.

— Brandon Kenney, 28, was charged Saturday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), no or expired registration plates, failure to maintain insurance and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

— James King, 34, was charged Friday with shoplifting under $500.

— Colton Newsome, 25, was charged Saturday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.

— Kristie Jo Norton, 43, was charged Saturday with receiving stolen property under $500.

— Gary Oakley, 22, was charged Friday with third-degree burglary.

— Stephen D. Puckett, 49, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

— Charles Saylor, 42, was charged Saturday with receiving stolen property under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Jordan Terry, 28, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol (aggravated).

— Henry Williams, 35, was charged Sunday with theft by deception, cold checks under $500.

— Over the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 41 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, four respiratory cases, eight diabetic cases, four strokes, one seizure, two overdoses and one obstetrics case.

— At 8:09 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an accident at 6169 Lexington Road.

— At 5:21 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an accident involving one vehicle and a tree at 123 Albany Lane.

— At 6:55 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a tree stump on fire at the area of Main Street and Winn Avenue.

— At 12:49 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 250 N. Main St.

— At 11:46 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 243 Buffalo Trace.

— At 10:50 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 843 Bypass Road.
