Izola Crowe

Izola Crowe, 95, of Winchester, widow of Woodrow Crowe, passed away Tuesday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 2, 1922, in Kimbrell, Estill County, KY, to the late Grant and Mary E. McIntosh Puckett. She was a devout Christian and member of the Dunaway United Methodist Church. She was a quilter and seamstress and loved gardening.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, survived by two grandsons, Jason (Beth) Jones of Fayette County and Wesley (Jessica) Crowe of Clark County, one sister, Geneva (Paul) Denniston of Estill County and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
She was preceded in death by son, Glenn Crowe and daughter, Norma Jones.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11am at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with Rev. Robbie Shrout presiding. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9am until the hour of service. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Denniston, Joe Jones, Jack Crowe, Jackie McKenzie, Doyle Spry, members of the Crowe family and the elders of the Dunaway United Methodist Church.
