With only days before Halloween, monsters and superheroes are showing up everywhere, especially at Leeds Center for the Arts this weekend.

Tonight, there will be a screening of the 1935 film masterpiece “Bride of Frankenstein.” The film, which is a sequel to 1931’s “Frankenstein.” Both star Boris Karloff as the monster and were directed by James Whale.

The film, which was added to the U.S. National Film Registry, follows Henry Frankenstein as he is coerced into creating a companion for the monster, after giving up on the notion of creating life.

Some of Goodner’s work is currently on display in the Leeds lobby.
