Vernon Randall “Randy” Epperson, 62

Vernon Randall “Randy” Epperson, 62, husband of Karen Sue Crowe Epperson, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.

Randy was born in Winchester on September 14, 1955, to the late Vernon B. and Beulah Clay Newkirk Epperson. He was a retired IBM employee and worked for Kentucky One Health Supply Chain in Lexington. He was a member of the First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road in Winchester.

In addition to his wife of 41 years, he is survived by two sons, Steven G. Epperson and Brian P. Epperson of Clark County; a sister, Linda Ragland of Winchester, father-in-law, Alva “Jack” and Juanita “Faye” Crowe of Winchester, brother-in-law; Alva Lynn and Cynthia Crowe, Harrison Country; sister-in-law; Joan Marie and Jeff Mayo of Clark County and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Paul and Ronald Lewis Epperson.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Monday, October 30, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home by Alan Epperson and John “Chip” Graves. Burial will take place at Clarmont Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers; Steven G. Epperson, Brian P. Epperson, Jeff Mayo, Michael Lynn Crowe, Matthew Epperson, Christian J. “CJ” Epperson, Gary Keith Epperson, Alan Epperson. Honorary pallbearers; Mario Guerra, Alva Lynn Crowe, Matthew Tackett, Josh Stringer.

Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of service.
