Lawrence Barrett, 78, husband of Cora Martin Barrett, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017, doing what he loved most – fishing. He was born on January 26, 1939, in Lee County, KY, to the late Dewey and Laura Brandenburg Barrett. He was a retired produce manager of Winn Dixie and a member of Central Baptist Church. Mr. Barrett was an avid fisherman, horseshoe player and member of Clark County Fish and Game Club.

In addition to his wife of 28 years, he is survived by one daughter, Lisa Barrett (Bob) Faulkner; and grandson, Chris (Nancy) Faulkner.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Michael Houchens. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bobby Faulkner, Wayne Miller, Royce Paynter, Greg Baber, Todd Barrett and Doug Martin.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of service Monday.
