Ronald J. Osborne, 84, of Winchester, husband of Geraldine “Gerri” McKinney Osborne, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. A native of Harlan, KY, he was born on July 31, 1933 to the late James H. and Martha Nolan Osborne. Before retiring, Ronald worked as a mine supply salesman. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, Shriner and member of Harlan #879 F&AM .

In addition to his wife Gerri of 58 years, survivors include, two sons, Ron Osborne (Gloria) of Winchester and Tony Osborne (Tammy) of Lawrenceburg; one daughter, Cathy Shea Shook (Bob) of Winchester; six grandchildren, Whitney Moffett (Stephen) of Winchester, Hillary Osborne of Nashville, TN, Bradley Shook of Winchester, Deborah-Carlie Lemar and daughter Ava of Lexington, Cade Osborne of Lawrenceburg, Mattie Lynn Osborne of Lawrenceburg; one brother, Ernest Joe Osborne of Harlan, KY. He also leaves behind several extended family members. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Ronald J. Osborne will be conducted at 12:30PM, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Lynn Buckles. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00AM until the time of service at 12:30.
