According to court documents, the Kentucky State Police received a tip in August from the National Center for Missing or Exploited Children about an image that was posted in an online chatroom. Detectives tracked the IP address of the user who posted the image to a customer at 419 E. Washington St.

Detectives searched the residence on Oct. 26, the day Gray was arrested, and seized a cell phone, two tablet computers, a laptop computer and a computer hard drive for forensic examination.
