Main St. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the Eight Beatitudes, the 12 Steps and their Biblical comparison. — Winchester Christmas parade, 6 p.m. on Main Street. Theme is “A Magical, Musical Christmas.”

— “We need a little Christmas,” Winchester Chorale Christmas concert featuring Angelina Huguely on saxophone, 7:30 p.m. at First Christian Church. Concert is free, but a love offering will be collected to support the chorale.

— Community open house for public to see Holly Rood beautifully decorated for Christmas, 1 to 3 p.m. at 28 Beckner St.

— NAMI Winchester-Clark County (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Christmas potluck dinner, 6:30 p.m., McCready Hall, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 2410 Lexington Road. Anyone (including family members and friends) affected by mental illness is invited to attend. Bring a side dish (vegetable, salad, dessert, etc.).  NAMI will have the main dish, bread and beverages. For more information, call 749-3702.
