A Morgan County woman is facing multiple felony charges after she crashed into her boyfriend’s apartment following an argument Thursday night.

Katrina Allman, 21, of Grassy Creek, was arrested for six counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and one count of first-degree criminal mischief following the incident at Grandview Apartments on Oxford Drive.

Winchester Police officers were called to the scene shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday to find Allman’s Nissan Versa partially embedded in the apartment building. Allman was still in the driver’s seat when officers arrived, according to court documents.

Winchester Police Capt. Harvey Craycraft said Allman and her boyfriend, who lives in the building, were in a domestic dispute prior to the incident. Allman apparently went outside and drove her car into the apartment.

According to the arrest citation, Allman told officers she was trying to kill herself.

Neither Allman nor anyone in the apartments were injured.

Allman’s boyfriend was in the apartment at the time, and there were five other people in the apartment directly below, Craycraft said.

She is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
