James L. Cassell, Sr., 69, passed away on Wednesday, December 6 at St. Joseph Hospital.

He was an avid fisherman and motorsports fan and was often found “piddlin’ around” trying to find something to fix. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a Production Supervisor for the majority of his career.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and orneriness that will be carried on by his beloved wife, Jill, of Winchester; Children Linda M. Branham (Gary) of Irmo, SC; Tina M. Jackson (John) of Baltimore, MD; James L. Cassell, Jr. (Leesha) of Lexington, KY; Four Grandchildren, five Great-Grandchildren and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, KY on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 2:00PM. Family will receive friends from 1:00PM until time of service.
