Winchester firefighters tackled their third structure fire in less than a week Tuesday afternoon.
Winchester Fire-EMS Battalion Chief Jason Keller said the department was notified that a house at 10 6th St. was on fire around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
He said damage to the home was contained to primarily one side of the structure, and a “good majority” of the home and other belongings were salvageable.
A vintage Chevrolet Camaro parked next to the side of the home where the fire was strongest was also damaged by the fire.
Chief Cathey Rigney said on scene Tuesday the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Keller said nothing about the fire was suspicious.
The residents were not home when the fire occurred and there were no reported injuries, Keller said.
