BREAKING: Indictments returned in double homicide

The Clark County grand jury indicted eight people today in connection with the Nov. 10 shooting that left two teens dead at a Winchester apartment building.

Matthew Carmen, Ronnie Ellis, Denzil Hill and Darian Skinner were each indicted for two counts of murder for the deaths of Adrianna Castro and Kayla Holland on Nov. 10.

The four were also indicted for one count of wanton endangerment for allegedly placing three other people in danger.

Mikaela Buford was indicted for two counts of complicity to commit murder and one of complicity to first-degree wanton endangerment.  Police said she drove Hill, Ellis and Skinner to the Washington Street Apartments at 27 E. Washington St.

Carmen, Hill, Skinner, Ellis and Julia Richardson were all charged with tampering with physical evidence for allegedly removing evidence from the scene.

Two new defendants, Brian McIntosh and Jessica Burton, were charged with hindering the apprehension of Matthew Carmen following the shooting.
