Ecton Green Jr., 89, husband of Jane Hylton Green, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the Willows at Hamburg.

A native of Clark County, Kentucky, he was born on March 9, 1928, to the late Ecton and Sally Wills Green. He was retired from East Kentucky Power Cooperative and a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Green was a veteran of the United States Marines.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Craig) Kincaid of North Carolina and Ellen (Tim) Green of Louisville, KY; three step daughters, Garnett (Bill) Davis, Julia (Steve) Adams and Charla Hylton; one son, James (Ginny) Green of Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; and one sister, Jenny (Jack) Ross.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved first wife, Jeanette Cheuvront Green.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Bill Davis. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jack Ross, Steve Adams, Roy Don Reynolds, Paul Williams, Garland Cheuvront, Eddie Cheuvront, Bert Cheuvront, Bob Cheuvront and Paul DiPaolo.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-7:00PM at Scobee Funeral Home.
