Joseph Edward Hisle, 78, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Fountain Circle in Winchester, KY. A native of Winchester, he was born on December 7, 1939, to the late Joseph Samuel and Sophia Francis Estes Hisle. He was a mechanic, truck driver and attended Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by the love of his life and mother of his children, Charlene Hisle; four children, Joy (James) Courey of Middletown, OH, Steve Hisle, Kathy Brandenburg and Diane “Dinkie” (Tim) Wright, all of Winchester, KY; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Courey, Jimmy Courey, Chris Hisle, Chad Hisle, Cindy Hisle, Kaleb (Jenifer) Brandenburg, Cayla (Hisle) Wright and Evan (Abigail) Wright; three great grandchildren, Jared Courey, Cameron Englund and Nicholas Haskins; five siblings, Sudie Hall, Brenda (Paul) Smith, Marcus (Debbie) Hisle, Sam (Sandie) Hisle and Gene (Sue) Hisle; and sister-in-law, Rachel Mae Hisle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Ivan Hisle, Charlie Hisle, Ruby Kidd, Rhonda Patterson, Keith Hisle and brother-in-law, Howard G. Hall.Services will be at 2:00PM, Friday, January 5, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Pat Finley. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Stephanie Courey, Jimmy Courey, Chris Hisle, Chad Hisle, Cindy Hisle, Kaleb Brandenburg, Cayla (Hisle) Wright and Evan Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Courey, Steve Davis, Charles David Hisle and Dwayne Moore. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00PM until time of service.
