— Bluegrass Heritage Museum Second Thursday program, 6:30 p.m. at 217 S. Main St. Chautauqua program on “Jean Ritchie, Damsel with a Dulcimer.” Jean Ritchie, born in Perry County, was a recording artist, commercial performer, author and composer known as “the mother of folk.” She will be portrayed by Rachel Lee Rogers. Program is free. Doors open at 6 p.m. Museum is handicapped accessible at side entrance. Refreshments will be served.

— Martin Luther King Day celebration, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Event includes breakfast, performances by the George Rogers High School chorus and jazz band, and a keynote address from Martha Miller. The celebration will finish with a march to the Clark County Courthouse.

— JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes information meeting with Chad Burkhart, 6 p.m. at Winchester Police Department.
