CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Linda M. Watts, 36, of 152 Strode Station Circle, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 10:04 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 1280 Therese Drive after someone broke into several storage units.

— At 1 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 216 Honeysuckle Lane concerning someone opening a checking account using the caller’s information without permission.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 5:34 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 803 Larry Court.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 18 general medical calls, two respiratory cases, one overdose and one obstetric case.

— At 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 101 W. Lexington Ave. It was a false alarm.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Billy J. Estes, 42, was charged Wednesday with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.

— Charles Leon Harrison, 60, was charged Wednesday with third-degree burglary.

Reports

— At 3:22 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning two people who refuse to leave. Billy J. Estes was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 8:47 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 103 E. Hickman St. concerning a theft of tools.

— At 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive concerning a stolen television.

— At 4:21 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 221 College St. concerning a possible sewer discharge.

— At 7:31 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 10 Taylor Ave. concerning a person receiving threatening text messages.
