CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Robert Harley, 29, of 3995 Iron Works Road, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled substance.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 5:06 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road.

— At 9:20 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 401 Marquis Court for a smell of smoke in a residence.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to 17 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, one diabetic case, two seizures and one stroke.

— At 4:45 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1465 W. Lexington Ave. It was a false alarm.

— At 11:53 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 415 Magnolia Ave. It was a false alarm.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Blake D. Griggs, 24, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree assault.

Reports

— At 4:39 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 331 S. Burns Ave. concerning an assault. Blake D. Griggs was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.

— At 2:14 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 5 Almond St. after someone broke into a residence and stole several items.

— At 3:36 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to  Save-A-Lot, 4000 Corporate Drive, after a former employee of a vendor stole $9,000 in meat.
