— William Will, 39, of 3 Chickadee Court, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree assault.

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 18 general medical calls and two respiratory cases.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Brian Lee Crowe, 32, was charged Monday with driving under the influence.

— Ray Rudell Day, 26, was charged Monday with trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces.

— Luis E. Rivera Rivera, 45, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree promoting contraband, alcohol intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Bobby Singleton, 80, was charged Monday with second-degree assault.

— Sherri Lynn Thornberry, 53, was charged Monday with driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license, failure to maintain insurance, careless driving and no rear view mirror.

Reports

— At 4:03 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a counterfeit $5 bill.

— At 5:19 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1 Alabama St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At 6:11 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1025 Early Drive concerning a person causing problems. Luis E. Rivera Rivera was arrested on multiple charges

— At 6:41 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive for a smell of marijuana. Ray Day was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana.

— At 8:50 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 115 Buckner St. concerning an assault. Bobby Singleton was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

— At 8:55 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a theft of beer.
