— “Short stacks for a tall cause,” pancake fundraiser for George Rogers Clark High School baseball, 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s, 1525 W. Lexington Ave. Tickers are $8 — includes pancakes, bacon and beverage.

— Author Georgia Green Stamper discussion, 1 p.m. at Paris-Bourbon County Library, 701 High St., Paris. Presentation sponsored by the Jemima Johnson Chapter of the DAR.

— Fireside Chats presentation of Daniel Boone, 6:45 p.m. at Fort Boonesborough State Park. Admission is $15 for adults or $5 for children 12 and younger. Each evening includes Taste of Frontier Fare and a first-person performance. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. The 18th Century Tavern Blockhouse will be open with refreshments and entertainment prior to the chats.
