James “Ronald” Houtz

James “Ronald” Houtz, husband of Monica Ells Houtz, passed away Thursday.
Born to Allene Covey Houtz and the late Lavern Houtz on 4/23/1952. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was a faithful member and worship leader of Fellowship of Believers Church. He was also an accomplished musician, never met a stringed instrument he couldn’t play.
He was retired after 47 years with Winchester Federal Bank where he served as Vice President and board member.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister Annette Houtz Compton, two nephews, Benjamin Israel Houtz and Oavah Houtz.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Ells Houtz, three children; James (Heather) Houtz, Joel (Stephanie) Houtz, and Heidi (Caleb) Little; two grandchildren, Piper and Zoe; three siblings, Verlene (Dan) Thompson, Duane (Linda) Houtz, and Frank (Mary) Houtz; a brother-in-law Cordell Compton and sixteen nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers; James, Joel, Eleazar, Jeremiah and Jezreel Houtz, and Caleb Little. Honorary pallbearers ; Richard Broaddus, Mike Price, leadership of Fellowship of Believers and long time coworkers of Winchester Federal Bank.
Services will be held at Grace Bible Church , 250 N. Main St., Winchester, on Tuesday, 2/13/18, at 1:30 pm.
Visitation will be Monday, 2/12/18 from 5-8 pm at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home.
