Chad Abner, financial advisor with Edward Jones, was the speaker at the Feb. 20 meeting ot the LLL Club at Central Baptist Church.

Abner, introduced by club president David Hoffman, spoke about the warning signs of senior adult scams.

Roy Watts, devotional speaker, read “What and Where Heaven Is” and closed with prayer.

Minutes were read by Gayle Crowe and the treasurer’s report was given by Phyllis Henderson. Both were approved as read.

Hoffman informed the club ‘Out to Lunch” will be March 6 to Michael’s in Ravenna. The church bus will leave at 10 a.m. The next monthly meeting will be March 20 at 10:30 a.m.

January and February birthdays were recognized and “Happy Birthday” was sung.

The prayer list and concerns were read by Mr. Hoffman.The closing prayer and table blessing were given by Ken Durkin.

Lunch was served to members Cora Barrett, Juanita Burkhart, Mary Lou Dinsmore, Ken and Barbara Durkin, Peggy Hall, Phyllis henderson, David and Glenda Hoffman, Anita Jones, Joe Pitts, Bob and Marie Quick, Margie Sidwell, Janice Taulbee, Sammy Thomas, Mary Watts, and the Rev. Earl and Mary Jo Waugh.

Guests were Chad Abner, Susan McClean, Bonnie Sartin and Paul Sidwell.
