First UMC sets Holy Week services

The community is invited to attend First United Methodist Church’s Holy Week services, March 26-30.

This year, in addition to the traditional morning services and accompanying breakfast, First UMC will also offer lunch services for those who cannot make the early morning services.

This year’s services include a daily morning service at 7 a.m. at the Main Street campus, followed by breakfast at 7:30 a.m. There will be special speakers and special music each morning.

On Monday, March 26, and Wednesday, March 28, a lunch service will be at the First Fire campus from 12:15 to 1 p.m. A light lunch will be served. 

On Friday night, the 3D Youth will present “The Crucifixion” in the Garden at the Main Campus at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) which portrays the death and resurrection of Jesus. Holy Communion is served in the sanctuary following the conclusion of the scene.
