Roy S. Grimes, 83, husband of the late Betty Fern Hall Grimes, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Winchester, he was born on February 28, 1935, to the late Edna Adams Hunt and Joe Grimes. He was a retired tool and die maker at Rockwell and a Kentucky Colonel. He was also a member of Winchester Wesleyan Church for many years.

He is survived by two daughters, Darlene (Mike) Barnes of Winchester and Sharon (Jack) Watts of Danville; three grandchildren, Felicia McRannolds, Adam Merrill and David Merrill; four great grandchildren, Trinity McRannolds, Elijah McRannolds, Jaxxon Quiroz and Harper Joanne Merrill; two sisters, Joan Robinson and Robin Durbin; three brothers, Ray Bradley, Don Bradley and Shirley Grimes.

Services will be at 1:00PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastors Ron Pelfrey and Bill Shumate. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00PM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home.
