Stang most recently served as the life group and guest service pastor at Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons, N.C.  He has also served as a small group pastor, associate children’s pastor and a bi-vocational senior pastor.

First Baptist Church is excited to have Stang join the congregation as its new pastor. The members look forward to Stang sharing his Biblical knowledge and experience with the church and with the community of Winchester. Stang has conveyed his strong love for Christ and feels compelled to build on First Baptist Church’s rich history as an institution that serves people.

Stang and his wife Lindsay have three children, Quinn, Caroline and Ben. They are settling into their new home and getting to know the ins and outs of Winchester and the surrounding area. Ale-8 has already become a family favorite.
