Lexington police are investigating after a Winchester women was allegedly kidnapped at a Fayette County gas station.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call around 4:39 a.m. Monday to Brandenburg Lane concerning a women who said she was being held against her will in a vehicle in the area.

When they arrived, deputies found Michelle Wagoner, of Winchester, in a Ram 1500 that was stuck in the mud on Brandenburg Lane.

Wagoner told deputies she was at a gas station in Lexington with the owner of the vehicle. When the owner went in the gas station, an unknown male and female entered the vehicle and drove away.

Wagoner said the suspects would not let her get out of the car and would not tell her where they were going.

She said the driver was likely biracial and had tear drop tattoos on his face, according to the report.

Wagoner told deputies the driver got lost on Jackson Ferry Road and then got the truck stuck in the mud on Brandenburg Lane.

According to the report, Wagoner and the suspects got out of the vehicle and walked to a nearby home where Wagoner was allowed to use the restroom.

Wagoner said she told the residents she was being held against her will, and they called 911.

When deputies arrived, the suspects were no longer in the vehicle.

The Lexington Police Department advised deputies they were investigating the theft of the vehicle and the alleged kidnapping.

No arrests had been made at press time.
