The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court March 15 with Judge Jean Chenault Logue presiding.

— Cindy Ballard, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended one year concurrent, sentencing May 3.

— David Allen Charles, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended two years, diverted for two years, sentencing May 3.

— Mario Rashad Dalton, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended six years concurrent; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing April 12.

— Teresa Mae Ross, complicity to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended one year, sentencing April 12.

— Roger D. Kinney, murder, amended to second-degree manslaughter, pleaded guilty, recommended 10 years; tampering with physical evidence, pleaded guilty, recommended five years consecutive; sentencing April 12.

— Roger Kinney, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, amended to convicted felon in possession of a firearm, pleaded guilty, recommended two years; receiving stolen property — firearm, dismissed; second-degree escape, dismissed; first-degree criminal mischief, amended to second-degree, pleaded guilty, recommended 12 months concurrent with previous case, sentencing April 12.

— Frances Jane Purvis, first-degree criminal abuse, amended to second-degree, pleaded guilty, recommended five years, sentencing April 12.

— Carl D. Miller, complicity to first-degree criminal abuse, amended to complicity to second-degree, pleaded guilty, recommended two years, sentencing April 12.

— James C. Mitchell, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, dismissed as merged; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended one year; violation of conditions of release (two counts), dismissed; sentencing May 3.

— Michael Sean Tuttle, theft by unlawful taking, pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days; second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, pleaded guilty, recommended three years; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing April 12.

— Michael Sean Tuttle, third-degree burglary, pleaded guilty, recommended three years, concurrent with previous case; receiving stolen property, pleaded guilty, recommended 30 days concurrent; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing April 12.

— Thomas Ballard, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, pleaded guilty, sentenced to four years, probated for four years; theft by unlawful taking – firearm, pleaded guilty, sentenced to four years concurrent.

— Thomas Ballard, first-degree bail jumping, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year, consecutive to previous case.

— James Jointer, receiving stolen property – firearm, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year; convicted felon in possession of a firearm, pleaded guilty, sentenced to five years concurrent, probated for five years.

— James Jointer, first-degree bail jumping, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year, probated for five years, consecutive to previous case.

— Travis Kemplin, second-degree disorderly conduct, pleaded guilty, sentenced to 10 days; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent; tampering with physical evidence, pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years concurrent, probated for two years.

— Travis Kemplin, first-degree bail jumping, pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year, consecutive to previous case, probated for two years.
