SATURDAY, MARCH 31

— Free hunter education class sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Office. Continuation of class from Friday, March 30. Must attend both days to complete course. Pre-register on line at the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife website under hunter education.

— Underwater Easter Egg Hunt, noon at Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation natatorium, 15 Wheeler Ave. Open to children ages 14 and younger. Open swim begins at noon. Egg hunt begins at 1 p.m. Participants will collect eggs from the small and large pools. Cost is $5, which includes swimming after the event. — Spring Clean Day, 7 a.m. to noon. The Winchester Municipal Utilities Transfer Station will be open to access solid waste. A current water bill and picture ID are required to dispose of items at no cost. Customers must accompany the load to the transfer station. Anyone without required ID will be charged for disposal. Cash and check will be accepted. WMU will not accept paint, propane tanks, lead-acid batteries, free liquid, household or other hazardous waist, masonry, bricks, concrete debris or appliances that contained or have contained freon (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units).
