LLL Club met March 20

The LLL Club met March 20 at Central Baptist Church for the monthly meeting and potluck luncheon.
The meeting was conducted by David Hoffman, president, who gave the opening prayer.
Bob Quick led the group in singing “At the Cross” and “The Old Rugged Cross,” accompanied by Peggy Snowden on the piano.
Hoffman introduced Snowden, who gave the devotional “Child of God.”
Stacy Baker with Rapha Ministries, spoke about its mission and providing quality medical care to the uninsured in Clark County.
The minutes were ready by Gayle Crowe and a treasurer’s report was given by Phyllis Henderson. Both were approved as read.
Hoffman informed the club “Out to Lunch” for April 10 will be to Our Best Restaurant in Shelby County. The church bus will leave at 10 a.m.
The next monthly meeting will be April 17.
Those with March birthdays were recognized and “Happy Birthday” was sung.
Hoffman read the prayer list and Conrad Young gave the table blessing and closing prayer.
Lunch was served to members Cora Barrett, Gayle Crowe, Bob Davis, Mary Lou Dinsmore, Ken and Barbara Durkin, Peggy Hall, Phyllis Henderson, David and Glenda Hoffman, Anita Jones, Dorothy Soberly, Joe Pitts, Bob and Marie Quick, Margie Sidwell, Dr. Bill and Peggy Snowden, Lunner Thacker, Sammy Thomas, Mary Watts, the Rev. Earl and Mary Jo Waugh, Conrad and Geraldine Young, and guests Stacy Baker, Bonnie Sartin and Roy Watts.
