Doris “Nannie” Ann Gatewood Satterwhite, 87, widow of John W. Satterwhite, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Frankfort, KY, on July 25, 1930, to the late Willi Gatewood, Jr. and Emma Dennis Gatewood. She was a homemaker, a former member of Central Baptist Church and a founding member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children, Johnna Kay (Jimmy) Davis, Warren Scott (Teresa) Satterwhite, and Timothy Gayle Satterwhite; six grandchildren, William “Will” Scott Kincaid, Leanna Brooke Davis, David Tyler Davis, Warren Scott (Jessica) Satterwhite II, John Perry Satterwhite and Mason Parker; one great granddaughter, Savannah Renee Satterwhite; one brother, Eugene Gatewood; one sister-in-law, Margie Gatewood; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Services will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastors Barry Proctor and Edwin Davis. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard, Dale and Jeff Gatewood, Mike Harp, Jack and Bill Pruitt.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391 and/or New Hope Baptist Church, 130 Clintonville Road, Winchester, KY 40391.
