CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Craig Mullins, 40, of Jackson, was charged Monday with driving under the influence.

Accidents

— At 8:13 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on the Mountain Parkway near the 4.5 mile marker in which Berry J. Mayes of Boonevile was traveling east when he lost control of a U-Haul van. It went into the median, returned to the highway and overturned. Mayes and two passengers, Amber B. Westley of Dayton, Ohio, and Robby L. Young of Mount Sterling, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 12 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one respiratory case, one diabetic case, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 8:15 a.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to an injury accident near the 4 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 2:15 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Lexington Avenue at Bypass Road.

— At 3:09 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Mount Sterling Road at Veterans Memorial Bypass.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 9:13 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 55 Sewell Shop Road.

— At 5:58 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 4718 Ecton Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Robert Keith Byrd, 40, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Dana L Stephenson, 50, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

Reports

— At 5:06 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 2950 Corporate Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 5:38 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1221 Bypass Road for a shoplifting complaint. Robert Keith Byrd was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 5:42 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a rape which occurred in 2016.

— At 7:21 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 104 Pedro Way concerning a theft.

— At 8:03 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning an employee theft. Dana Stephenson was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Accidents

— At 3:07 p.m. Monday, officers responded to an injury accident on Mount Sterling Road in which Veronica McCarty of 450 Country Club Drive, was traveling south on Veterans Memorial Parkway when she saw another vehicle turning through the intersection at Mount Sterling Road. McCarty said she slammed on her brakes but her vehicle collided with the other, which was driven by Joy R. Rivers of 23 Sherwood Court. A witness said McCarty ran a red light. McCarty was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with leg and stomach pain.
