Special singing at Evangelist Outreach

There will be a gospel singing featuring Narrow Way from Olive Hill at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at Evangelist Outreach Ministries Church, 8 N. Bloomfield Road.

It’s that time of year: time to “render to Caesar” by way of paying our taxes. But what are we called upon to “render unto God?” Learn more about it Sunday at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” where worship begins at 11 a.m.

Greater St. James CME outreach ministry offering free food

Free food for the community will be served by the outreach ministry team of the Greater St. James CME Church from noon until supplies run out Saturday at the church, located at 410 W. Washington St. Everyone is invited to partake. The Rev. Claudette Norton is pastor.

Community Bible Study meeting

Community Bible Study will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays at Grace Baptist Church. The study is currently on Genesis. There are classes for women and children of all ages. For more information, call 859-595-0262 or email cbswinchester@gmail.com. Guests and new members are always welcome.

Easter services at First Presbyterian Church

Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Services at Liberty Bible Church of God

Liberty Bible Church of God will serve a dinner after services Sunday in honor of the church’s one-year anniversary. Services at Liberty Bible Church God are as follows: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday church services, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday evening Bible study, 6 p.m.; and youth group, 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays.
