WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— Over the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 46 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, six respiratory cases, one stroke and two overdoses.

— At 4:16 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident on Veterans Memorial Bypass at Maple Street.

— At 9:50 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an unauthorized burn at 111 Dixon Way.

— At 5:28 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 2410 Lexington Road.

— At 7:09 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to 402 Cedar Court concerning an electrical problem with the HVAC unit.

— At 5:18 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 2410 Lexington Road.

— At 12:11 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an accident at Boonesboro Road and Flanagan Station Road.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:14 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the intersection of KY 627 south and Flanagan Station Road.

— At 6:12 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted emergency crews with a call at Glenway Road.

— At 11:25 a.m. Saturday, firefighters conducted an investigation at the area of Two Mile Road and Blueberry Lane.

— At 9:21 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS with a call at 1421 Flanagan Station.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

— At 8 a.m. Thursday, deputies responded to 119 Winterberry Circle concerning items stolen from a vehicle.

— At 8:33 p.m. Friday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on the Veterans Memorial Bypass. The driver, Kenneth Browning, no age given, was charged with driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He consented to a search of the vehicle. Deputies found a backpack containing a zip-sealed bag with .92 grams of methamphetamine, a Suboxone tablet and and two syringes containing a liquid, which was identified by a passenger as morphine. The passenger, Sancha Hayes, 39, of Mount Sterling Road, said the morphine belonged to her, but the other drugs did not. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).

— At 8:57 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to Comfort Inn on Revilo Road concerning a grease gun stolen from a truck parked in the lot overnight.

— At 12:11 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident  in which a truck driven by David Riley, 37, of Louisville, was traveling northbound on Booonesboro and attempting to turn left onto Flanagan Station when a 2002 Mercedes Benz driven by a juvenile struck the truck in the rear. The juvenile and Laron Robinson of Taylorsville, who was a passenger in Riley’s truck, were transported to the hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. Cheryl Denham, of Quisenberry Lane, was a passenger in the juvenile’s vehicle and was not injured.

— Melanie Cooper, 35, was charged Sunday with shoplifting under $500.

— Danny Hon, 44, was charged Friday with instructional permit violations.

— Michael Curtis, 49, was charged Sunday with no or expired registration plates and failure to maintain insurance.

— John Isaac Huguely, 56, was charged Sunday with shoplifting under $500.

— Christopher Boain King, 30, was charged Saturday with third-degree burglary.

— Stephanie A. Murphy, 33, was charged Saturday with shoplifting under $500.

— Paul Wayne Roden, 23, was charged Friday with shoplifting under $500.

— Patti Snipes, 48, was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol.

— Timothy Ray Taulbee, 41, was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Christopher Michael Veal, 24, was charged Saturday with no or expired registration plates and failure to maintain insurance.

— Bret A. Wagner, 55, was charged Friday with violation of a city ordinance, no through truck traffic.

— Isiah Brandon Woolwine, 28, was charged Saturday with fraudulent use of a credit card under $500.

— At 4:18 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 42 Madison Avenue concerning loud music.

— At 10 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 402 Pueblo Court concerning someone attempting to break into the home.

— At 11:18 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 1459 Rolling Hill Lance concerning an intoxicated employee.

— At 11:50 a..m. Friday, officers responded to 123 Magnolia St. concerning neighbors trespassing on property.

— At 12:57 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 143 Winn Ave. concerning someone cutting open a screen window.

— At 1:35 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 114 Jefferson St. concerning someone using drugs in the yard.

— At 1:47 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 104 Pedro Way concerning a fake $100 bill.

— At 6:07 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 67 Fitch Ave. concerning alleged child abuse.

— At 8:04 p.m Friday, officers responded to 148 E. Broadway St. concerning an air unit damaged outside the church.
