Winchester’s Waffle House will be closing for a full 30 days to remodel the location.

Chad Richmond, unit manager at Waffle House, said the last day of business is Monday, April 23. The restaurant will close at 2 p.m.

Waffle House plans to reopen May 23.

Richmond said the entire inside of the store will be remodeled, but the amount of seating will remain the same.

The employees were given the option to take off for 30 days or work in a different location during the remodel.

He said the last remodel was in 2003, and other surrounding locations will likely remodel soon after.

“It’s time,” Richmond said. “We talked about it last year, and it was pushed back.”
