Colby Birkes of Winchester has been elected executive vice president of Morehead State University’s Student Government Association for the 2018-19 academic year. Birkes is a sophomore political science major, legal studies minor. He is the son of Dee and Lora Birkes of Winchester. Birkes is involved with the Residence Hall Association as president, currently serves on SGA as an at-large representative and is a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity where he serves as secretary. He plans to attend law school.
