The trolley is coming back for its annual trip through Clark County’s historical sites.
Tickets are on sale for the Bluegrass Heritage Museum’s Trolley Tours to mark May as Preservation Month.
Museum Director Sandy Stults said this year’s schedule includes four brand new stops, beginning with Harkness Edwards Winery on Tuesday, May 1.
Each of the four events are limited to 28 people, Stults said, and those should meet at the museum at 5:30 p.m. The trolley departs as soon as everyone arrives, she said. The tours last about 90 minutes.
This year’s schedule includes:
— May 1, Harkness Edwards Winery.
— May 8, Holly Rood, former home of Gov. James Clark.
— May 15, preserving stone fences at Joan Mayer’s home off Jones Nursery Road.
— May 22, Mount Folly Farm, a certified organic farm off Schollsville Road.
Tickets for Holly Rood are $10 each; all other tours are $20. For more information or to make reservations, call the Bluegrass Heritage Museum at 745-1358.
