— League-certified bicycle safety training, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, 2020 Rolling Hills Lane. Sponsored by Walk-Bike Clark County, Clark County Activity Coalition and BCTC. Students will learn about choosing a bike, basic parts of a bike, essential equipment and safe, comfortable bike riding. Includes 3.5 hours of classroom instruction, 3.5 hours of on-bike instruction and a 5-mile leisure bike ride to practice skills. Lunch is provided. Class is free. Instructor is Tim Klesk. Event includes BBQ dinner, live Bluegrass music from Uptown Blue, special guest speakers former UK basketball players Jeff Sheppard and Jarrod Polson, and an update on activities and plans for Uplifting Ministries in Guatemala. Main St. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the Eight Beatitudes, the 12 Steps and their Biblical comparison.
