State officials will close a portion of Two Mile Road for two days next week.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced the closures will be May 1 and 2 between Cole and Bybee roads. Workers will be replacing cross drains.

Two Mile Road is scheduled to be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, though the closure is subject to weather and other situations.

Cabinet officials suggested using Boonesboro Road as an alternate route during the project.
