WINCHESTER POLICE

Reports

— At 11:09 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 37 N. Highland St. after someone broke into a residence and was taking items. Ernest Knowles was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.

— At 2:39 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 114 Sycamore St. concerning a domestic disturbance.

— At 4:15 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 116 Alabama St. for a fight in progress.

— At 5:06 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Main and Ogden streets for a fight in progress. Nathaniel Gorman was arrested for disorderly conduct and Andrena Ingam was arrested for second-degree burglary.

— At 5:34 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1462 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft.

— At 5:44 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Main and Ogden streets for an assault.

— At 9:28 a.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning possible drug abuse.

— At 5:03 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 923 Bypass Road for a domestic disturbance.

— At 5:13 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 250 April Way for a harassing communications complaint.

— At 6 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 106 Fitch Ave. after someone broke into a residence and taken tools, carpet cleaner and other items.

— At 8:27 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning damage to a vehicle tire.

— At 9:04 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. after someone passed $40 in counterfeit money.

Accidents

— At 6:05 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to an injury accident on North Maple Street in which Hunter L. Smith of Irvine attempted to turn left to Madison Avenue from the slow lane and did not see another vehicle beside him. Smith turned in front of a motorcycle driven by Steven L. Aiken of 115 Linden Ave. Aiken was unconscious at the scene and was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Dustin Cramel, 32, of 131 Holiday Road, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence and possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Reports

— At 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 1810 Old Ruckerville Road after someone attempted to break into a vehicle.

— On April 13, deputies were called to 248 Hibiscus Lane concerning a stolen outboard motor.

Accidents

— At 2:45 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road in which a vehicle driven by Larry Shifflet of Clay City crossed the center line while traveling west and struck an oncoming vehicle head on.. Shifflet said he did not remember what happened. The other driver, Jesse Sparks of 4705 Iron Works Road, said he was traveling east when the other vehicle crested a hill in his lane. Shifflet and passenger Catrina F. Shifflet as well as Sparks and three passengers were taken to local hospitals with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 21 general medical calls, one cardiac case, two respiratory cases, two seizures and one stroke.

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 19 general medical calls, one cardiac case, two respiratory cases, one diabetic case and one obstetric case.

— At 2:13 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Bypass Road.

— At 2:46 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 2640 Iron Works Road.

— At 4:04 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Beverly White Towers, 4 N. Maple St. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 1:40 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Bypass Road and Lexington Avenue.

— At 2:46 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 2640 Iron Works Road.

— At 10:53 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 2522 Two Mile Road.

— At 7:48 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 552 Treehaven Drive.

— At 7:46 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 872 Stratton Lane.
